Hello Friends,
It’s November! There’s just two months of 2024 left and I’ve been in a reflective mood. Thinking back on what I’ve done this year. What I might want to do next year. And considering how I can prepare myself for it. I think late autumn is the best time to think about this, rather than the traditional New Years. There’s too much heavy thinking to be squeezed into the week between Christmas and the 1st of January. Autumn on the other hand is a time of change, so why not follow that and give myself time to think and plan. This has therefore been the main thing I’ve been working on for the last few weeks. (Which I’d like to write a dedicated post about - so keep an eye out for that.)
In the meantime here are the latest additions to the Year of the Card Challenge:
The first one from September, is for my niece Robyn. A squirrel painter for a fellow lover of art, crafting and squirrels.
And the second one is from October for my sister Rae, a fabulous baker and the cheekiest monkey I know.
If you want to read more about the Year of the Card I’ve written about it on my website: here. I can hardly believe there’s only two more cards left to go on this challenge! The year has absolutely flown by and I’m actually really proud of myself for sticking with this one. I’ve never completed a year long challenge before.
This month has been a short one, the next one probably won’t be, so until next time.
Bridget
